Terms and Conditions

• Access: Initiate a transaction through a participating merchant or directly on the PayByChance platform.
• Ticket Purchase: Voluntarily buy a ticket at the current ticket price to enter the draw.
• Draw Mechanics: An automated draw is triggered once the threshold number of tickets is reached. One ticket is randomly selected as the winner.
• Winning: If your ticket is selected, you win the prize amount for that draw.
• Prize Delivery: Winnings are either remitted to the merchant on your behalf or deposited in your PayByChance wallet.

To participate in PayByChance, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid Nigerian phone number.
• Use a recognized payment method.
• Agree to these Terms and use the platform responsibly.

• Each ticket purchased represents one entry into the draw.
• Multiple tickets can be purchased per transaction.
• All draws are conducted fairly using a random selection algorithm.
• Any attempt to manipulate the system will result in disqualification.

• Draws are triggered automatically when the threshold number of tickets is reached.
• Winners are notified via SMS and email to the contact details on their account.
• Winning amount is remitted to the merchant on behalf of the winner (for Pay Merchant wins), or
• Deposited in the user's PayByChance wallet (for Pay Cash wins).
• Wallet funds can be withdrawn to a linked bank account or spent at participating merchants.
• Winnings must be claimed within 90 days. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited.

To participate, you must create an account by providing accurate personal information including your name, phone number, email address, and bank details for withdrawals.

• Use strong, unique credentials for your account.
• Set up a Transaction PIN for secure withdrawals and payments.
• Never share your login details or PIN with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activities on your account.
• Report any unauthorized access immediately.

We may require identity verification before processing withdrawals. This helps protect against fraud and ensures compliance with regulations.

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank transfers
• Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve)
• Mobile wallets
• USSD payments

Payment Terms:

• You must use legitimate payment methods linked to accounts in your name.
• All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
• Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers.
• We do not store your full card details on our servers.

All content on the PayByChance platform, including but not limited to:

• Logos and trademarks
• Website design and layout
• Text, graphics, and images
• Software and algorithms

You may not use, copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without prior written authorization from us.

We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Nigerian data protection laws (NDPR).

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal requirements)
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications

• Participation does not guarantee any prize or return on ticket purchases.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.
• We are not responsible for technical failures, network issues, or third-party service disruptions.
• Our maximum liability is limited to the value of tickets purchased.

The following actions will result in immediate disqualification and possible legal action:

• Fraud or attempted fraud
• Providing false or misleading information
• Using automated systems or bots
• Manipulation of the draw system
• Collusion with other users or merchants
• Money laundering or any illegal activity

Disqualified users forfeit all tickets, winnings, and wallet balances.

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.
• Suspend accounts under investigation for fraud or misuse.
• Close accounts that have been inactive for extended periods.

Upon termination:

• Any unused tickets are forfeited.
• Pending winnings may be forfeited if termination is due to Terms violation.
• Legitimate wallet balances will be paid out within 30 days.

These Terms may be amended or updated at any time at our discretion.

• Updates will be posted on our platform with the effective date.
• Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
• Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
• If you disagree with changes, you should stop using the platform and close your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

• Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through our customer support.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be settled via Mediation at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse.
• If mediation fails, disputes may be referred to arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction in Lagos, Nigeria.
